{F}eelin' the {L}ove...

This time of year makes it really hard for me to 'Feel the Love'. I feel like Christmas is all about $Money$ and everyone get's so lost in the Hubb-Bub of the season. For goodness sakes, we can't even say "Merry Christmas" anymore...It has to be "Happy Holiday's".

Well screw that.

This is my blog and I am sharing the CHRISTMAS love.

I have to try and remember everyday (not only during December) why we celebrate this sacred and holiest of holidays. I want to feel the LOVE in my heart as a scramble last minute to get the CRAZY things my kids have wished for on their Christmas lists (Mia wants yet ANOTHER pillow pet AND a ruby ring...and a unicorn if Santa can find one...I told her they are plumb out of unicorns this year).

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all of you out there (I think there might be five or six?!) that read my crazy blog and the outspoken ramblings that go on inside my head...

It drives me NUTBALLS when people buy expensive cars and get them in YELLOW. I don’t know why this bothers me to my core, but it does. I mean really…out of all the colors in the rainbow…?!

And also, if your kid is a “Star Student” at their school, we get the message when you put the first bumper sticker on. Do you really need five? You just make me feel like a lousy mom and that my kids are below average.

Whew! I really feel like a weight has been lifted since I got those two things off my chest…

So let’s get down to the real reason for this post.

Sweet, Sweet, Love.

I was happy to make the drive ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way to Prescott, AZ to photograph the nuptials between these two lovebirds. It was truly a magnificent day and I felt SO lucky to be the one to capture the ‘magic’.

I feel like I have made friends for life:)

These photos have been sitting in a folder on my computer for months BEGGING to be seen.

I could no longer keep them locked away.

It’s painful to look at them because it reminds me that the dog days of Summer are officially over and the countdown to Christmas has officially begun (49days, 13 hours and 13 minutes according to the time at which I am writing this post).

This is when I begin to FREAK THE HECK OUT!

I have three kids. My daughter every year asks Santa for the impossible. This year it is either her own iPad (yeah, those are cheap) or her own unicorn.

I. Am. Screwed.

So in case I forget to tell you all in the next two months…
